The mission of NCAComp's Workers' Compensation claims staff is to provide fair and equitable treatment to workers suffering injury in the course of and as a result of their employment by meeting the statutory obligations in an efficient and fair manner. This will be accomplished by:
- Prompt and thorough investigation to assure that all legitimate claims are processed without delay.
- Communicating with the employer and the injured worker as soon as possible to gather the information needed to adjudicate the claim.
- Provide prompt telephonic case management under established NCAComp guidelines.
- Protect our clients from loss through fraud and abuse.
- Avoid excessive payments by controlling costs of investigation, medical management, legal defense, length of disability, and medical treatment.
